Teaching is a noble profession. It is a fun , hobby , passion and my dream job. I want to share the create the most effective teaching learning process.
Until I join as a Lecturer in an Engineering college I was in the idea that , I can revolutionize the pool of students with the Technical input what I had. It was possible for me to some extent.
That was the day, I was called by a person from the management. I was asked to immediately surrender my original post grad and under grad degree certificates . I asked them why ? I was given the reply , it is the rule.
I got annoyed . I had no options . I checked with many of my friends. They told that certificate has to be surrendered.
We live in Independent India .We insist in personal freedom. Isn't this a way of creating slaves.
Do the management know , how an individual got his degree?
Many of my friends told that they school teachers were paid even less than Rs 3000/ month.
Isn't this an exploitation. They were not paid PF, no medical benfits, no insurance and nothing other than the wages. The situation during vacation is still worse. The school / college management can send any person from his job without notice at any time. But if a teaching person wants to quit his job , he needs to submit during the before start or during the end of the academic year . He/ she would be relieved before the vaction, to save the two months salary.
Isn't this injustice ?
Few days ago Ex President of Inbdia Dr.Radhakrishnan's birthday , Teachers' day was celebrated. The management of many colleges / schools celebrate this day as just to show case their activity. Is the management really interested in the welfare of teaching community?
This mooted an idea create a website , create a common and powerful community to fight against the exploitation of teaching community.
